94.5 XKR recognizes those who fought for our freedom. We appreciate what they have done and sacrificed so we can live free in America.
This year Veteran’s day is Saturday, November 11th, but WXKR will honor veterans in studio on Friday November 10, 2023. WXKR will have area veterans come into the studio to take over the radio station.
Our local hero’s will have the opportunity to play some music while sharing their experiences in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines.
Promotion of the Veterans day take over will begin November 1st thru the Veterans Day takeover. The takeover will run from 9 a.m. till 7 p.m.
